This national sugar institute course are PG diploma in sugar technology, PG diploma in industrial fermentation and Alcohol technology, sugar boiling certificate course, sugar engineering certificate course, pre harvest cane maturity survey certificate course, certificate course in quality control, FNSI in sugar technology/ sugar chemistry, FNSI in sugar engineering, FNSI in fermentation technology. 1. PG diploma in Sugar technology - 69
Qualification: B.Sc with physics, chemistry 7 mathematics or bachelor degree in chemical engineering.
2. PG diploma in sugar engineering- 28
Qualification: Bachelor degree or AMIE in mechanical/ electrical/electronics.
3. PG diploma in industrial fermentation and alcohol technology - 28
Qualification: B/Sc with chemistry/ applied chemistry/ Bio tech/ bio chem.
4. Sugar boiling certificate course- 57
Qualification: Matriculation/ high school with science/ agriculture
5. Sugar engineering certificate course - 15
Qualification: Diploma in engineering in electrical/ electronics/ instrumentation/ mechanical.
6. Pre harvest cane maturity survey certificate course - 18
Qualification: Intermediate with science or agriculture or equivalent.
7. Certificate course in quality control- 15.
Qualification: 12th standars in science.

Fee: SC/ST candidates pay 800/- and all other candidates pay 1000/- in the form of demand draft in favour of director, national sugar institute payable at Kanpur.
Selection: Candidates selection is based on the admission test for 1 to 4 course and personal interview for 5, 6 and admission test for 7 and personal interview for 8, 9, 10.
