Name of the Post: Stenographer

Age Limit: Candidates age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 32 year on the date of application. Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from a recognized board and Speed in short hand and Type writing @ 120 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. respectively at least Certificate in Computer training from a recognized Institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer Operation.

Application Fee: Candidates must enclose with their application copy of Bank Challan for depositing or Rs. 200/- + 12/- as Bank charges / Processing Fees. Bank Challan may download from the Hon'ble High court website only.

Selection Process: Candidates shall be required to undergo a test in Shorthand at the speed of typing and Computer Knowledge and Interview.

How to Apply: Eligible Candidates may submit neatly hand written or typed applications on plain paper with 02 photographs, attested copies of all relevant certificates must be addressed to the Registrar General, High Court Calcutta - 700 001 on or before 31-05-2013.
